Episode 29: 5 Ways to Love Yourself

In this episode, I share five different ways to love yourself and teach your body and brain to care for yourself. If we begin to treat ourselves better then maybe we can be kinder to others, and that would be a great goal for 2021.

  • The first way to love yourself is to stop saying negative things inside your mind and begin retraining the brain how to think positively toward ourselves. (3:09)
  • Pause and look in the mirror, straight into your eyes, and focus on past achievements and celebrate what you have today. (4:30)
  • Take time to write down all your accomplishments from the week, whether big or small, and remember what you have done. (6:30)
  • Even though it can be hard, find time each day to do something you love because it’s one way to teach your brain and body to love yourself. (8:20)
