But every now and then, I’m a sucker for a fantastic luxury dupes! It’s simply simple better to buy a look-alike and save money, especially with specific things I’m adding into my house.

Serena & Lily’s enormous Balboa Rattan Bed is incredible. Everything about Serena & Lily screams seaside chic at its finest. They have mastered the art of sophisticated yet unfussy style. Their rattan selection is wonderful, and it wouldn’t be complete without the Balboa and Harbour Rattan rattan platform beds. They’re both fantastic. Of course, you may adore the look but lack the financial means to purchase a $3298 king bed.
I’m a huge admirer of West Elm. The introduction of a trim — in either white or black – elevates this variation of the rattan platform bed. The black creates such a strong contrast, but the white maintains everything looking clean and fresh.
CB2 Leather Bar Stool $279:

CB2 is one of my favorite stores, and I’ve been browsing (and promoting) their modern, elegant collections for years. While many of their items are difficult to imitate since they always have a really distinctive feature – such as these Roadhouse Saddle Leather Bar Stools – I came across a lookalike the other day that I simply had to share.
Are you curious about the distinction? The term “counter” or “bar” simply refers to the height of the seat. Because most kitchen islands are counter height, you’ll need counter stools. This isn’t always the case, so measure from the floor to the bottom of the island and then inspect the legs of the barstools you want to be sure there’s enough room to sit on the chair without smashing your legs or jamming the seat into the bottom of the counter.
Even with counter stools, there will be some variation in how near the seat is to the floor, so measure twice and double-check that it will work. Worst case scenario, most of these locations have excellent exchange rules and you should be able to find something that works.

Who doesn’t adore McGee & Co and Studio McGee’s great style? Their taste is impeccable, and their range, which includes everything from wallpaper to furniture, provides you with everything you need to construct the ideally furnished house… for a fee. Sure, they have a more cheap line at Target, which is fantastic, but there are several items, such as their Jasper counter stool, that are exclusively available via McGee & Co.
But there’s good news: you can have the gorgeous lines of this wishbone counter stool for a tenth of the price. I discovered a good-looking doppelganger at a reasonable price to assist you replace the wishbone-shaped hole in your heart. Also, if you’ve ever questioned if you need bar stools or counter stools, keep reading to the end because I’ll give some recommendations to help you decide.

I’ve been having a lot of fun with the Lulu and Georgia dupes recently! If you haven’t seen my first Lulu and Georgia knockoff (the Bungalow Rug by Jenni Kayne), go here. I’m carrying on the Lulu and Georgia theme with my Manila Dining chair fake; scoop dining chairs (like the ones below) are based on the 1960s Panton chair, which was made of plastic, according to Google. Throw in some wicker and a few minor style changes, and you’ve got some very attractive dining seats. My personal favorite is the Wayfair Rattan Side Chair, which is also the least expensive of the alternatives (this NEVER happens). Regardless of the choice you pick, all of my discoveries will add the iconic S-shaped silhouette to any dining area.
