Big projects, last-minute deadlines, afterschool activities, even laundry – all of these things are part of your to-do list. At times it can seem overwhelming, especially when you forget to do something, it feels like all your responsibilities pile up and your brain is going to explode. Wouldn’t it be nice to just press the pause button for a moment and give yourself a chance to slow down and catch up?
In today’s episode, I discuss how you can find ways to balance your time and not feel burdened by the tug of life. Productivity is important, and oftentimes it’s what helps us feel fulfilled, but it can also make us feel like there is not enough time in the day to do anything. I share tips on ways to simplify and de-stress your life so that you can regain control in the areas of life that matter to you the most.
In this episode, we cover:
- Wanting to slow down and hit the pause button when life’s to-do list gets too much (1:46)
- Before you can de-stress your life you need to figure out what stresses you out (4:19)
- How can you make the stressors go away? Once you identify them, it’s time to act on it (10:45)
- You’re setting yourself up for failure when you crap multiple days worth of tasks into one 24 hour cycle (14:18)
- When we live in a world of stress, we are burying our soul, our mind, our creativity, and our purpose. It’s important to identify your triggers so you don’t lose sight of yourself (17:00)
- You got yourself into the stress, you can get yourself out of the stress (20:41)
