Episode 66: Heavenly Realm

As we get into the holiday season, we might find this one of the best times of the year or one of the most stressful times. The holiday season can be heard for many of us, especially when we think about the people we have or the people we love who cannot join us in person.

In today’s episode, I share some lessons I have learned from a book called Imagine Heaven by John Burke. This book speaks on ways you can understand the afterlife and near-death experiences. I read a specific chapter and talk about shame-based identity, how we are still the person God created us to be and why as females we shouldn’t carry shame and guilt.

In this episode, we cover:
  • An excerpt from Chapter 5: You’ll Be Yourself Finally [4:04]
  • You are still the person God created you to be [9:28]
  • As females we should not carry shame and guilt [10:09]
  • Another story from the book: We all want to make a name for ourselves but why? [12:48]
  • The Lord immediately knows who you are [15:44]
